Job summary

Turkeyfoot Family Pet Center in Akron is seeking a friendly Receptionist to welcome clients, schedule appointments, and process payments. You’ll be the first friendly face and key touchpoint for families with small animals and exotics.

This full-time role offers a structured schedule Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays, no nights or holidays, and a supportive team culture. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth are included.

  • Maintain a clean, organized reception area and support daily front-desk tasks.

Role: Receptionist
Status: Full-time, 32–40 hours per week
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays; no nights, Sundays, or holidays; established set day off each week available if desired

What You’ll Do

  • Update client and patient records within the hospital's practice management system
  • Help coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, technicians, and assistants
  • Support efficient patient and client flow throughout the hospital
  • Handle sensitive or emotional conversations with empathy and professionalism
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks and daily front-desk responsibilities
