Turkeyfoot Family Pet Center in Akron is seeking a friendly Receptionist to welcome clients, schedule appointments, and process payments. You’ll be the first friendly face and key touchpoint for families with small animals and exotics.

This full-time role offers a structured schedule Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays, no nights or holidays, and a supportive team culture. Competitive benefits and opportunities for growth are included.

• Experience coordinating appointments and managing busy schedules.

• Attention to detail when updating patient records and documenting communication.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to identify scheduling priorities and escalate urgent concerns.
• Comfort discussing invoices, estimates, services, and hospital policies with clients.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
• Serve as primary contact for clients in person and by phone.
• Schedule appointments and manage a busy multi-doctor calendar.
• Check patients in and out and maintain accurate client and patient information.
• Collect payments and process invoices.
• Review estimates and explain charges and services to clients.
• Communicate hospital policies, pricing, and service information clearly.
• Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, technicians, and assistants.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area and support daily front-desk tasks.
