As a Receptionist, you will:

1. Receive and make calls to schedule appointments.
2. Prioritize multiple tasks calmly and efficiently.
3. Maintain accurate client and pet records.
4. Assist clients with instructions, information, invoices, dispense prescriptions, and schedule future visits.
5. Use hospital computer systems for documentation and communication.
6. Manage financial transactions and maintain accurate balances.
7. Provide excellent customer service and professional communication.
8. Educate clients on pet health and hospital services.
9. Maintain a positive attitude with clients, pets, and teammates.
10. Show empathy and compassion for clients and pets.
11. Utilize office equipment effectively.
12. Understand veterinary terminology and procedures.
13. Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
14. Experience with veterinary software is preferred.
15. Work independently and follow instructions.
16. Organize and manage tasks efficiently.
17. Apply critical thinking to solve problems.
18. Communicate effectively, exercise good judgment, and handle stressful situations.
