Job summary

American Veterinary Group's Crossroads Animal Hospital in Mississippi is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to deliver outstanding client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor environment.

You will handle front desk duties, scheduling, client greetings, paperwork, and invoices; you will also support daycare and boarding activities and participate in crafts. Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Description

Our hospital is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital.

The Veterinary Receptionist is responsible for maintaining front of house duties. These tasks vary by day but can include: answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, maintaining hospital required paperwork and reviewing invoices or discharge instructions. To be successful in this role, clear communication and organizational skills are key! We are looking for someone who is ready to head the Lodge reception area as well as intake daycare and boarding. This role will also need to assist in the weekly crafts so, creativity is a must!

  • Energetic people-and-pet person with excellent work ethic and social and organizational skills
  • Be compassionate/caring
  • Willing to work flexible hours including weekends

  • Self-starter personality that can complete daily tasks without the need for constant direction
  • Must be interested in creativity and innovation as associated with our daycare and boarding crafts
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise
  • Prior Customer Service Experience
