Knotts Yard Vets is seeking a friendly Veterinary receptionist to join its expanding team in Virginia. The role requires a positive can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and a love for animals to support clients and their pets in a busy reception environment.

Responsibilities include answering calls, booking appointments, handling cash, and performing general admin duties. The environment can be emotionally demanding, so calm, confident, and empathetic conduct is essential.

About The Role

Our Fantastic Knotts Yard Vets are looking for a Veterinary receptionist to join their expanding team!

We are looking for a receptionist with a positive can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and a love for animals to join our very friendly Reception team.

Previous experience working in a busy reception environment, managing phone calls and cash handling is desirable. Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information, as well as using IT systems would also be advantageous. There will be administration duties along with supporting our clients and their pets. This is an environment which is often emotionally stressful for clients and pets. The ability to remain calm, confident, and friendly under pressure is essential.

• Full time working hours over 4 days with a day off in the week - 37 hours per week
• 1 in 4 Saturdays 8-12pm
• No OOH or On call with this role!
