Intermountain Pet Hospital of Chinden is located in Meridian, Idaho, and has been serving the community for over 50 years. We are a full-service animal hospital providing veterinary care to dogs, cats, exotics, and pocket pets, offering services such as routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Responsibilities:
  1. Receive and place calls to clients for scheduling.
  2. Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner.
  3. Maintain proper documentation through client and pet records, including referral documentation and medical history.
  4. Assist clients with instructions, information, invoices, dispense prescriptions, and schedule appointments.
  5. Utilize hospital computer systems for documentation and communication.
  6. Manage financial transactions following proper procedures.
  7. Provide excellent customer service and professional communication.
  8. Educate clients on pet health and hospital services to advocate for pets.
  9. Maintain a positive attitude and show empathy towards clients and pets.
  10. Utilize standard office equipment.
  11. Possess knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures.
  12. Work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
  13. Experience with veterinary software is preferred.
  14. Work independently and accept direction on tasks.
  15. Demonstrate organizational skills and critical thinking.
  16. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgment, and stress management.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Pay range of $12.35-$20.90/hour based on experience
