Animal Medical Center in Hernando, MS is seeking an experienced receptionist for a fast-paced three-doctor practice. You will greet clients, triage concerns, schedule appointments, check in/out, and process payments, providing compassionate support in times of need.

Must have at least 1 year of veterinary receptionist experience, be highly organized, and able to multitask. Strong communication and computer skills are essential, with a team-oriented attitude and a desire to grow professionally.

Animal Medical Center is a well-established, progressive, fast-paced, three doctor companion animal practice in Hernando, Mississippi, with an additional location in neighboring Senatobia, Mississippi. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients including preventative care, surgery, dentistry, reproductive procedures, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, and ultrasonography, in a clean, newly remodeled location.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.

Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Qualifications

• Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experiencerequired
