Job summary

Alliance Animal Health is seeking a friendly, organized veterinary receptionist to welcome clients, triage concerns, answer calls and emails, schedule appointments, and process payments. You will support daily flow and maintain a compassionate, discreet presence for clients during challenging times.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of veterinary reception experience, strong communication, and proficient computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year veterinary receptionist experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable with computer-based tasks and learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, triage concerns, answer calls and emails.
• Schedule appointments to optimize daily flow and check-in/check-out processes.
• Process payments and provide compassionate support as needed.

Responsibilities

Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, manage calls and emails and direct them to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients, and process payments. Provide friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need, and be comfortable with various medical outcomes.

Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises, and may be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Qualifications

• Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1‑year veterinary experience preferred
• Compassionate, calm, team player, multi‑tasker and strong communicator
• Highly organized with computer skills
• Self‑starter with a desire to continue to advance knowledge and skillset

Pay Range

$12 per hour
