Alliance Animal Health in Biloxi, MS, seeks a veterinary receptionist to warmly greet clients, triage questions, and manage calls and emails. You will schedule appointments, check clients in and out, and process payments while delivering empathetic support to pets and their owners.

The role requires weekend and evening availability, strong organizational skills, and comfort with a fast-paced clinic environment. Opportunities for growth and ongoing training are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional receptionist or customer service experience preferred in a veterinary setting
• Weekend and evening availability is required
• Able to remain calm and provide compassionate support to clients

Job description

Our team is led by dedicated veterinarians with decades of experience in animal health. Our state-of-the-art facility is furnished with the latest technology and equipment to care for everything from minor to severe emergencies. We have four exam rooms, an on-site blood bank, and a fully stocked pharmacy to evaluate and deliver emergency treatment. Our surgical suite is equipped with continuous critical care monitoring to observe every case with which we are faced. We have in-house radiology, lab analysis, and ultrasound.

No matter how big or small the patient and their needs are, we continuously strive to set and deliver a high standard of compassionate care. Our veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff are dedicated to delivering the highest level of care to your pets during times of emergency. We are committed to staying updated with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and providing personalized attention to each pet and their owner.

We are open 24/7 to attend to emergencies at any time.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes.

Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Qualifications

• 2-years of professional receptionist or customer service experience required, veterinary receptionist experience preferred but not required
• Weekend and evening availability is required

• Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset
