Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in the San Francisco Bay area is seeking a Director of Veterinary Quality to ensure care across market hospitals meets Banfield quality standards. Qualifications

• Five years practicing in small animal veterinary medicine and surgery
• Two years’ experience in hospital leadership
• Five years’ experience in multi-location veterinary management
• An active veterinary license in good standing is required for every state in which they oversee hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• In partnership with the ACOS, drive a successful and growing doctor team through recruiting, gathering referrals, and hiring.
• Ensure the delivery of an exceptional onboarding and mentorship experience.
• Consult with operational partners on doctor risk, staffing needs and compensation.
• Develop and lead the Area Chiefs of Staff (ACOS) to ensure care delivered in our hospitals meets industry, regulatory, and Banfield quality standards.
