Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Director of Veterinary Quality. The role oversees quality initiatives across markets in the San Francisco Bay Area, driving high standards of care, staff development, and regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have a DVM/VMD, 5+ years in small animal practice, leadership experience, and multi-site management. The position offers comprehensive benefits and travel across markets.

Formación

• DVM/VMD required and licensed in good standing.
• Five years of practice in small animal veterinary medicine and surgery.
• Two years of hospital leadership experience.
• Five years of multi-location veterinary management experience.
• Active veterinary license in good standing in every state overseen.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor ACOS to meet quality standards.
• Drive doctor recruitment, referrals, and hiring.
• Oversee onboarding and mentorship for new staff.
• Ensure care meets industry standards and Banfield quality domains.
• Oversee safety, regulatory compliance, and DEA/radiation safety.
• Travel to markets for visits and performance reviews.
• Develop relationships with veterinary colleges for recruiting.
• Manage market medical equipment budget and maintenance.
• Represent Banfield in veterinary organizations.
