Job summary

Heartland Veterinary Partners seeks a Practice Manager for Town & Country Veterinary Hospital in Winchester, TN. You will lead business operations, HR, marketing, and IT with the MDVM to grow the practice and ensure excellent client service.

Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, you will manage finances, scheduling, payroll, vendor relations, and compliance, while developing a high-performing team dedicated to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in applied science, veterinary technology, or business a plus.
• Practice Manager Certification a plus.
• Strong communication and client service skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; computer literacy essential.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety practices and payroll basics.

Responsibilities

• Manages practice financial performance and drives revenue growth.
• Oversees expenses including pharmacy, supplies, labor, and facility.
• Maintains inventory balance for stock and sales.
• Partners with MDVM to ensure accurate pricing.
• Creates/analyzes performance reports to improve results.]
• Ensures compliant payroll and records; processes invoices and vendor relations.
• Oversees marketing with Heartland Marketing and community outreach.
• Ensures staffing and scheduling to satisfy clients and team members.
