Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Hospital Operations Manager to lead our veterinary hospital operations, partner with veterinarians, and ensure excellent client experiences while driving revenue and controlling costs.

You’ll coordinate scheduling, inventory, invoicing, and staff development, maintaining OSHA standards and a clean, compliant hospital environment. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years minimum experience in veterinary practice; leadership experience acceptable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to make decisions, delegate tasks, and drive results with hospital partners
• Compassionate, professional demeanor under stress
• Proficient with basic computer skills and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital paraprofessionals to drive operational excellence and high-quality patient care
• Coordinate scheduling, inventory control, invoicing and client communication
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance management of paraprofessional staff
• Review P&L and partner with management to increase revenue and control costs
• Maintain OSHA standards and ensure a clean hospital environment
