Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations and drive business results in a veterinary hospital setting. You will partner with the chief of staff to develop associates, foster an engaging team environment and ensure clients and patients have an exceptional visit experience.

You will also oversee budgeting, staffing, and continuing education, while upholding The Five Principles and Banfield guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Three years related experience required, including direct supervisory experience (hiring, associate development).
• Healthcare/veterinary industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire and develop associates; evaluate hospital processes, progress and productivity.
• Train associates on client education about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.
• Educate staff on Banfield guidelines, assist with budgeting, scheduling and daily operations.
