Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations in partnership with the chief of staff. You will drive business results, develop associates, and foster an engaging team environment while ensuring clients and patients have a positive hospital experience.

You will leverage three years of supervisory healthcare experience and a bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline to manage budgeting, scheduling and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or equivalent education/experience.
• Three years of related experience, including direct supervisory experience (hiring, associate development).
• Duties include interviewing, hiring, developing associates, and evaluating hospital processes and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring and developing associates; evaluating hospital processes, progress and productivity.
• Train associates on educating clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care and hospital services.
• Educate associates on Banfield guidelines and practices; budget and plan for the hospital.
• Support daily operations and staff; schedule associates and coordinate time off; manage continuing education needs.
