Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to oversee daily hospital operations, drive business results, and lead a team of veterinary professionals. You will partner with the chief of staff to ensure high-quality care and a positive client experience while aligning with corporate goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of supervisory experience in relevant settings, with a focus on budgeting, operations, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Three years related experience required (health care, veterinary profession, service industry, etc.), including direct supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring and developing associates, and evaluating the hospital’s processes, progress and productivity.
• Train associates on Banfield guidelines/practices and educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans®, preventive care, pet health needs and hospital services.
• Budgeting and planning for the hospital; supporting daily operations and staff; scheduling associates and coordinating time off.
• Develop associates and foster an engaging team environment; lead and coach to improve performance and patient care.
• Demonstrate strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; manage conflicts and optimize hospital performance.
