AmeriVet is seeking a Practice Manager for a Companion Animal Hospital. The role oversees daily operations, finances, staff, marketing, and compliance to deliver high-quality patient care and exceptional client service.

You’ll collaborate with veterinarians and staff to grow the practice within budget and policy guidelines. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of managerial experience in veterinary or healthcare settings, with strong P&L skills and a preference for CVPM/CVBL credentials or

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a veterinary practice or healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis is preferred.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or other relevant areas are preferred but not required.
• Veterinary Technician experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational management of the veterinary practice.
• Manage administrative, financial, and human resources functions.
• Lead staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Develop schedules that balance patient needs with labor costs.
• Drive marketing, community relations, and patient experience improvements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain records confidentiality.
• Train staff on practice technology and coordinate with IT support.
