Job summary

AmeriVet is seeking a Practice Manager for Companion Animal Hospital in New Hampshire. You will oversee day-to-day operations, financial performance, client relations, and marketing initiatives to grow the practice while maintaining high-quality care.

The role requires 3–5 years in a managerial capacity, preferably in veterinary settings, with CVPM/CVBL or healthcare admin degree preferred. Expect a fast-paced environment and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years in a managerial role, preferably in a veterinary practice or healthcare setting.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or other relevant areas are preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis is preferred.
• Veterinary Technician experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance.
• Manage budgeting, billing, expenses, and financial reporting.
• Lead client relations and ensure exceptional service.
• Ensure smooth daily operations including inventory and scheduling.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies and community outreach.
• Maintain compliance with veterinary regulations and safety laws.
• Coach staff on technology use and coordinate with IT support.
