Job summary

Chewy Vet Care in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a full-time Practice Manager to lead our new veterinary practice team. The role focuses on operational excellence, staff development, and exceptional patient and client care within a modern, technology-enabled environment.

You will work closely with clinicians to implement SOPs and SOCs, supervise staff performance, manage schedules, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. A CVPM certification is preferred and experience mentoring teams is valued.

Qualifications

• CVPM certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a Practice Manager.
• 2 years of supervised experience with veterinary radiation machines preferred.
• Experience mentoring and leading others.
• Excellent verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support paraprofessional staff with policies, procedures and technology.
• Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership for ongoing development.
• Oversee staff performance and create optimized work schedules.
• Mentor team members and assist with career development.
• Lead inventory cycle counts and fulfill inventory requests.
• Engage clients to ensure top-quality care and handle conflicts.
