Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead day-to-day hospital operations and drive high-quality care. In partnership with the chief of staff, you’ll develop associates, optimize processes and ensure a positive client and patient experience in a busy veterinary hospital.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in business or related discipline, 3 years of supervisory experience, and the ability to manage budgets, schedules and education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Three years related supervisory experience (includes hiring, associate development, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Interviewing, hiring and developing associates, to evaluate hospital processes, progress and productivity.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, pet health needs and hospital services.
• Budgeting and planning for the hospital.
• Supporting daily operations and staff.
• Scheduling associates, coordinating time off and managing continuing education needs.
