Job summary

Heartland Veterinary Partners LLC’s Broken Arrow practice, Broken Arrow Veterinary Hospital, is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee operations, HR, marketing, strategic planning and IT management, ensuring high client satisfaction and quality patient care.

The role reports to the Regional Director of Operations and partners with the MDVM to drive profitability, growth, and a fear-free, stress-free environment for pets and clients. Full-time on-site role with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Full-time, on-site position with weekend availability.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in applied science, veterinary technology, or business a plus.
• Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds; heavier lifts require assistance.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
• Excellent communication and client service experience.
• Experience in practice management or supervisory roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages practice financial performance, putting plans in place and engaging teams around activities that drive revenue for growth.
• Manages practice expenses including pharmacy, supplies, labor, and facility.
• Ensures appropriate inventory management including an appropriate balance of regular stock and sales.
• Manages and partners with MDVM to ensure accurate pricing is applied.
• Provides input during annual budget planning.
• Creates new or analyzes existing performance reports and generates insights to improve performance.
• Applies knowledge and understanding of veterinary practice management in directing daily operations to support doctors and staff.
