Job summary

AmeriVet is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead a full-service team in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and drive client relations to provide outstanding patient care and service.

The role requires strategic oversight of daily operations and compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of managerial experience in veterinary or healthcare settings, plus a track record in P&L and financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years in a managerial role, preferably in veterinary practice or healthcare.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related fields preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead all practice staff, including veterinary technicians, receptionists and support staff.
• Oversee budgeting, billing and expense management with regular reports and action plans.
• Lead client relations to provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries promptly.
• Manage operations: inventory, scheduling, supplies and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulatory agencies and OSHA workplace-safety requirements.
• Drive marketing, community outreach, and social media to attract and retain clients.
