Job summary

AmeriVet seeks a Practice Manager in Yuma, AZ to oversee day-to-day veterinary practice operations, ensure high-quality patient care, and deliver outstanding client service. You will lead staff, manage financial performance, and drive marketing initiatives while maintaining compliance and efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a veterinary practice or healthcare setting.
• CVPM, CVBL and/or a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related fields are preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management and financial analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: Supervise and lead all practice staff, including technicians and receptionists; manage recruitment, onboarding, training and performance.
• Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, billing and expenses; monitor accounts receivable and financial performance.
• Client Relations: Build strong client relationships and ensure exceptional client service; address feedback.
• Operations Management: Ensure daily operations run smoothly, including inventory, scheduling and equipment maintenance.
• Marketing, Business Development & Community Relations: Execute marketing strategies; expand community presence through events and outreach.
• Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations, OSHA and safety requirements; maintain records and privacy.
