Qualifications

• 3+ years hospital management or supervisory experience in veterinary medicine.
• Bachelor's degree in business and/or equivalent experience.
• CVPM encouraged to apply.
• Strong personal judgment in decision-making.
• Capable of leading, managing, and coaching staff at all levels.
• Empathy toward clients and animals with respect and compassion.
• Budgeting and financial reporting, including reading a P&L statement.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Commitment to outstanding client service.
• Solid math and Excel skills.
• Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds without assistance and more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Hire and train hospital staff; collaborate with leadership and finance to prepare and manage budgets.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators; set fees; maintain inventory and an inventory control system; manage hospital software; implement safety procedures.
• Oversee the hospital's operations with a focus on culture, communication, and patient care.
• Lead and coach staff to ensure high-level client service and staff engagement.
