BluePearl Pet Hospital in Christiana, DE is seeking an experienced Veterinary Practice Manager to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital.

As a Veterinary Practice Manager:

• You will mentor, develop, and lead a team of 30+ hourly and professional staff to excel and focus on patient care.
• You will partner with and oversee the doctor team, medical staff, and client service representatives, guiding their development.
• You will manage financial and strategic business development to achieve hospital profitability.
• You will handle the primary care DVM and patient referral base with sensitivity.
• You will develop intra-staff relationships with a good understanding of HR issues and legal compliance related to employment law.

Experience Preferred:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred; CVPM designation a plus.
• Experience: 3-5 years of successful management in complex organizations, within veterinary, human medicine, hospitality, or client services industries.

Skills/Knowledge:

• Excellent time management, follow-through, and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Effective communication with employees and external contacts, maintaining a positive, service-oriented attitude.
