Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Veterinary Practice Manager for Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital in Thousand Oaks, CA. The PM will oversee hospital operations, hiring, training, budgeting, KPI tracking, and client service improvements.

With 3+ years in veterinary hospital management, a Bachelor's in business, and strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills, you will lead a compassionate team dedicated to excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hospital management or supervisory experience in veterinary medicine.
• Bachelor's degree in business and/or equivalent business experience.
• CVPM encouraged to apply.
• Experience managing an ER veterinary healthcare.
• Sound personal judgment in decision-making.
• Capable of leading, managing, and coaching staff at all levels.
• Demonstrated competence in staff management including hiring, coaching and disciplinary action.
• Empathy toward clients and compassion for animals.
• Budgeting and financial reporting skills including reading a P&L statement.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and commitment to outstanding client service.
• Strong math and Excel/spreadsheet skills.
• Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and supervise hospital staff.
• Work with leadership and finance to prepare and manage budgets.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Set fees and manage pricing strategy.
• Maintain inventory and inventory control system.
• Manage hospital software and data.
• Implement safety and security procedures.
