VEG for Pets in Florida is seeking an Operations Lead to drive a warm, efficient client and patient experience while guiding the hospital’s daily operations and staff. You’ll oversee triage, front desk workflows, inventory controls, and vendor relations, ensuring OSHA-compliant stock and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of supervisory experience is required.
• Prior experience with animals in a veterinary setting is a major plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 kg (with assistance for 40 kg).
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Work well in a fast-paced, diverse team with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer-focused experience and triage in the hospital.
• Maintain front desk operations, reception area, and refreshment center.
• Handle phone inquiries, greet clients, and manage wait times.
• Ensure accurate data entry and correct payment processing.
• Oversee cash reconciliation and end-of-day processes.
• Train and supervise new front desk staff.
• Oversee inventory counts, turnover, and vendor relations.
• Maintain spend within budget and OSHA-compliant stock areas.
• Lead communication about inventory and training with the team.
