Job summary

VEG ER for Pets is seeking a Clinical Staff Manager to lead our hospital's support staff and uphold VEG's high standard of emergency care. You will collaborate with the Medical Director and Regional Leadership to drive staff development, onboarding, and process improvements.

Responsibilities include interviewing and training credentialed technicians and assistants, overseeing shifts, and promoting an inclusive, high-performance culture; you’ll ensure operational excellence and patient care

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a clinical veterinary technician role.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• Must be enrolled in a Credentialing Support Program and become credentialed within one year.
• Flexibility to work 5 days per week including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment and manage staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hospital's support staff team across shifts and departments.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and development of VEG credentials staff.
• Partner with Medical Director and Regional Leadership to implement VEG initiatives.
• Address staff concerns and resolve conflicts to maintain workflow.
• Develop schedules, manage payroll coordination, and HR operations with partners.
• Support patient care quality and excellent customer experience.
• Drive process improvements and cross-team collaboration.
