Job summary

VEG is seeking an Operations Lead to champion a superior customer experience in our veterinary emergency setting in Seattle. You will guide triage, supervise staff, and ensure smooth hospital operations while empowering your team to make a real difference for pets and their families.

You will oversee front desk processes, inventory controls, and vendor relations, while maintaining OSHA-compliant stock areas and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Prior experience with animals in a veterinary environment preferred.
• Ability to stand for prolonged hours and lift up to 25 kg.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Drive VEG's customer-focused experience and triage with the team.
• Maintain front desk operations including reception, refreshments, cleaning, laundry, stocking and inventory.
• Greet customers and pets promptly, manage wait times and assist with inquiries and payments.
• Enter customer/patient information accurately and ensure payments processed correctly.
• Reconcile cash drawer and oversee end-of-day processes.
