VEG is seeking an Operations Lead to drive a top-tier customer experience in our veterinary emergency hospitals. You will lead front-desk operations, ensure smooth triage, and empower the team to deliver compassionate care to pets and their families.

Responsibilities include overseeing reception, inventory, payments, and vendor relations, while maintaining budgets and training new hires in fast-paced settings.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with animals in a veterinary ER preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 kg.

Responsibilities

• Drive a customer-focused experience and triage with the team.
• Maintain reception area, refreshment center, and inventory.
• Assist customers, answer phone inquiries, and manage wait times.
• Enter patient information accurately and process payments.
• Oversee end-of-day cash reconciliation and processes.
• Ensure front desk coverage and mentor new hires.
• Oversee stock counts, inventory controls, and vendor relations.
• Maintain spend within hospital budget.
• Spearhead inventory training and OSHA-compliant stock areas.
