IDEXX Laboratories, Inc in NORTH GRAFTON, MA seeks a Veterinary Medical Laboratory Technician to perform analyses that support animal health. You’ll work with automated analyzers, microscopes, and other diagnostics, reading and releasing results per SOPs in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

The role requires a High School diploma (2–4 year science degree preferred) and related lab experience; RVT/LVT/CVT background is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; a 2–4 year science degree is preferred.
• Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT/MT) background is a plus.
• Experience setting up, running, and reading lab tests and operating laboratory equipment is preferred.
• Skills in Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, Urinalysis or Cytology; able to work with standard analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Use automated analyzers, microscopes, and other diagnostic tools to perform analyses.
• Conduct tests on blood, urine, fecal, and biopsy samples received in the lab.
• Set up and run lab tests, read and release results per SOPs.
• Specialize in an assigned department and collaborate with the team.
