Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Laboratory Technician / Specimen Processor in NORTH GRAFTON, MA. You will receive and prepare veterinary samples (blood, urine, feces, biopsies) for analysis, entering data into a tracking system and arranging samples for testing.

The role supports a fast-paced lab, requires a high school diploma, and offers day-one benefits with a full-time 40-hour schedule, including a 12:00 am to 8:30 am shift and a Monday–Friday work week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume lab environment.
• Positive attitude and teamwork in daily lab tasks.
• Able to meet physical requirements (standing, lifting up to 50 lb).
• Ability to read, understand, and follow SOPs including safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and accession veterinary samples for analysis.
• Remove specimens from transport bags and enter data into tracking system.
• Rack and bundle prepared samples for delivery to testing departments.
• Assist others with specimen storage and help ensure Turnaround Times (TATs) are met.
