Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Veterinary Medical Laboratory Technician to perform diagnostic tests and operate laboratory equipment in support of veterinary care. The role supports a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and teamwork.

Role involves running automated analyzers, microscopes, and other diagnostic tools to analyze samples (blood, urine, fecal, biopsy) and release results per SOPs. On-site work in North Grafton, MA is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; science-related degree preferred.
• Extensive hematology, chemistry, urinalysis and serology skillset.
• Experience with analyzers (Sysmex, Beckman, Novus, Hamilton) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use automated analyzers, microscopes and other lab tools to perform analyses and tests.
• Perform diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal or biopsy samples received in the lab daily.
• Set up, run, read and release lab results according to SOPs; may specialize in a department.
