Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary hospital as veterinary assistant or technician.
• Ability to restrain dogs and cats for procedures.
• Strong medical eye to identify normal vs abnormal signs.
• Ability to triage animals and guide next steps in care.
• Knowledge of shelter illnesses and animal behavior basics.
• Belief in our No-Kill philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Run exams and give vaccines to incoming animals.
• Follow treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Help move healthy pets onto the adoption floor.
• Support team with medical observations and documentation.
