Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Shift Lead to mentor the team, support the Practice Manager, and help deliver exceptional client and patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

You will supervise daily operations, coordinate client services, and step in as Client Services Coordinator or Veterinary Assistant as needed, ensuring adherence to policies and delivering high-quality veterinary care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• You must have a minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• The Shift Lead provides exceptional client and pet experiences while assisting the Practice Manager and/or Chief of Staff in guiding the team to maximize productivity and profitability.
• They help ensure effective communication with clients, internal stakeholders, and colleagues.
• The Shift Lead also performs the duties of a Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant when needed.
