Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Shift Lead to guide a veterinary team, support the Practice Manager and COS, and ensure outstanding client and patient experiences. The Shift Lead will also perform Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant duties as needed.

The right candidate will demonstrate leadership, maintain high standards of care, and help drive productivity while promoting Banfield’s Five Principles in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of veterinary hospital experience.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
• Comfortable working around pets (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client and pet experiences while assisting the Practice Manager and COS to maximize hospital productivity and profitability.
• Perform the duties of a Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant when needed.
• Supervise and guide team to ensure quality medical care, exceptional client service, and associate engagement.
• Coordinate scheduling to meet client needs and plan time off and CE.
• Adhere to Banfield policies and dress/grooming guidelines.
