Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Shift Lead to supervise the team, support the Practice Manager and COS, and help maximize hospital productivity and profitability while ensuring strong client communication.

The Shift Lead will perform the duties of a Client Services Coordinator and Vet Assistant when needed, delivering high-quality care and service to pets and clients.

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• This position requires working special hours including weekends and evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day supervision of the team when called upon and ensuring quality medical care, exceptional client service, associate engagement and maximum productivity.
• Assist in effectively scheduling associates to meet client needs according, while proactively planning time off and CE scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with all practice policies and procedures.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma preferred.

Two years veterinary hospital experience
