Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Shift Lead to guide a high-performing team and deliver exceptional client and patient care. The Shift Lead assists the Practice Manager and Chief of Staff, oversees daily operations, and steps in for Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant duties when needed.

You will help schedule staff, uphold Banfield protocols, and promote effective communication across clients and team, ensuring productive and compassionate care for pets

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of two years of veterinary hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client and pet experiences while assisting the Practice Manager and/or Chief of Staff to maximize hospital productivity and profitability.
• Perform duties of Client Services Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant when needed.
• Supervise the team day-to-day, ensure quality medical care and client service.
• Schedule associates to meet client needs and plan CE scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with practice policies, dress and grooming guidelines, and maintain effective communication with clients and staff.
