The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in the veterinary industry, at least 1 year of supervisory experience, and strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of veterinary industry experience required.
• 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Experience supporting hospital operations, staffing, workflow coordination, and team development.
• Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and clinical oversight of Surgical Services.
• Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and clinical supervisors to support advanced patient care delivery and continuity of care.
• Monitor inpatient census, patient acuity, and staffing needs to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient resource allocation.
• Perform real-time workflow assessments, quality control checks, staffing adjustments, and operational support.
• Support centralized patient care operations while managing labor within budget expectations.
• Collaborate on patient management between other services within the hospital.
• Assist with developing and maintaining standardized inpatient workflows, treatment coordination processes, and operational protocols.
• Evaluate departmental resources, including staffing, equipment, and operational tools, while recommending improvements as needed.
