Job summary

Southwest Vet is seeking a dynamic Hospital Manager to lead our growing team on-site. You will work closely with the Managing Veterinarian to ensure a high-performing, patient-centered hospital with strong customer service and revenue growth.

The role requires in-person leadership of operations, scheduling, and financial controls, with a focus on team culture and continuous improvement. A proactive manager with a background in hospitality, retail, healthcare, or service-based industries is ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years in a managerial role with customer service experience.
• Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L and drive hospital performance.
• Forecast needs with regional leadership.
• Manage accounts receivable and costs.
• Oversee payroll and labor scheduling.
• Implement changes to improve efficiency and patient care.
• Maintain licensure for all DVMs and ensure compliant operations.
