North Main Animal Hospital in Royal Oak, MI seeks a Veterinary Hospital Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and ensure outstanding patient care and client service. This full‑time, permanent role requires a results‑oriented leader who can manage staff, scheduling, and budgets while promoting a culture of compassion.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of managerial experience in a hospital or service environment, a business degree, and a track record of improving processes

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of managerial experience in hospital, retail, or service-based settings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.
• Experience with P&L, budgeting, and staff management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the hospital P&L and profitability targets.
• Lead operations, client service, and administrative processes.
• Oversee payroll, scheduling, and labor cost management.
• Collaborate with leadership to forecast needs and trends.
• Manage accounts receivable and hospital inventory control.
• Drive technology implementations to improve efficiency.
• Maintain licensure and regulatory compliance for DVMs.
• Foster a culture of excellence and compassionate care.
• Provide feedback and handle challenging conversations with staff.
• Ensure top-tier patient care and exceptional client service.
