North Main Animal Hospital in Royal Oak, MI is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Manager to lead our team and drive hospital performance. The role focuses on delivering top-tier patient care and exceptional client service while managing profitability and fostering a culture of excellence.

The successful candidate will oversee operations, schedule staff, monitor costs, and implement improvements. Regular on-site presence is required to maintain strong client and team relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in a managerial role with customer service experience.
• Experience in hospital, retail, or service-based settings with increasing responsibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the hospital's P&L and performance.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to forecast hospital needs.
• Manage accounts receivable and patient billing processes.
• Oversee inventory and control costs for hospital and admin operations.
• Manage payroll and staff scheduling to optimize labor costs.
• Lead initiatives to improve processes, workflows, and client service.
• Implement new technologies and initiatives to boost operational efficiency.
• Cultivate a positive hospital culture and provide feedback to teams.
• Ensure licensure for all DVMs is up to date.
