Job summary

Mars Veterinary Health in Charleston, SC is seeking a Hospital Maintenance Technician to ensure hospital facilities are maintained in good condition and working order. You will identify, manage and perform facility repairs and preventive maintenance, and coordinate with field leaders on ongoing projects.

Required: three years in construction or maintenance, working knowledge of building trades, blueprints, electrical and plumbing; a bachelor’s degree in Construction or Facilities Management is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Facilities Management or a similar field preferred.
• Three years of experience in Construction or Maintenance required.
• Working knowledge of construction terms, blueprints, and troubleshooting electrical/plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Identify, manage, perform and track facility repair and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Manage in-house maintenance work orders and schedules.
• Inspect and report facility damages and construction variances.
• Coordinate travel and manage supplies within MVH guidelines.
