Job summary

Mars Veterinary Health is seeking a Hospital Maintenance Technician to support hospital facilities in Greensboro, NC. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and coordinating with clinics to ensure timely completion of projects.

You will handle plumbing, electrical, cabinetry and flooring tasks, manage work orders, and source contractors where needed. Candidates should have related degree and 3+ years' experience in maintenance or construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Facilities Management or a similar field preferred.
• Three years of experience in Construction or Maintenance required.
• Knowledge of construction terms, blueprints, and basic electrical/plumbing repairs.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Identify, manage, perform, measure, schedule and track facility repair and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Manage in-house maintenance work orders, coordinate timelines with hospitals and managers.
• Inspect, document, and report facility damages, repairs and variances.
• Provide clear communication of repairs, projects and service updates to managers.
• Purchase and manage inventory of hospital maintenance materials.
