Job summary

Mars Veterinary Health is seeking a Hospital Maintenance Technician for the St. Louis area. The role involves maintaining hospital facilities, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating repair work within budget guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Construction/Facilities Management or similar and at least three years of experience in maintenance, with strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and building systems. On-site work with some travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Construction/Facilities Management or similar field.
• Three years of experience in Construction or Maintenance required.
• Knowledge of construction terms, blueprints, electrical, plumbing and general building construction.

Responsibilities

• Identify, manage, perform, schedule and track facility repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate in-house maintenance work orders and communicate timelines to hospitals.
• Inspect and report facility damages, repairs and construction variances.
• Source, hire and manage painting contractors within region.
• Perform medical equipment preventive maintenance and report repairs.
