Southwest Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Manager to lead our team, drive growth, and uphold top-tier patient care and client service. The role collaborates with the Managing Veterinarian to ensure efficient, profitable hospital operations and a culture of excellence and compassion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role, including customer service experience.
• Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based industry setting with increased responsibility is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Complete ownership of P&L, accountable for the hospital's performance.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to identify trends and forecast the hospital's needs.
• Manage accounts receivable.
• Oversee hospital inventory and control facility and administrative costs.
• Manage payroll for hospital staff.
• Develop the hospital schedule and manage labor costs.
• Champion change and promote best practices.
• Lead the hospital team to enhance processes and workflows across client service, operations, and administrative tasks.
• Implement new technologies and initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Establish and drive the culture of the hospital.
• Track and maintain current licensures for all DVMs.
• Provide feedback and handle challenging conversations.
• Demonstrate and reinforce the highest level of client service.
