Job summary

University Animal Hospital in Tempe, AZ seeks an experienced front desk receptionist to join our team. This full-time position requires handling client interactions with a friendly, professional approach while managing appointments, check-ins/outs, and billing in a busy veterinary setting.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, and be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays. Experience with WOOFWare and electronic medical records is preferred, with benefits including health

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Entry level position; prior veterinary receptionist experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greets clients with a positive and friendly demeanor.
• Conducts themselves in a professional manner.
• Experience with a multiline phone system, fax, email, and electronic medical records.
• Promptly process accurate and thorough check in and check out procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness of lobby.
• Schedules appointments and boarding reservations.
• Cash and credit card transaction processing.
• Uses hospital software, WOOFWare, to look up and document client and patient history.
• Additional job duties as assigned.
