Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year front desk or customer service in medical or veterinary setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication; active listening and conflict resolution.
• Experience with appointment scheduling and multi-line phones.
• Data entry and payment processing or POS experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; quick to learn new software.
• Reliable, punctual, professional; able to work independently and with a team.
• Affection for animals and comfort in clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients at the front desk and collect intake information.
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system and direct calls about scheduling and services.
• Process client check-out, payments, and schedule future appointments.
• Provide compassionate customer service to anxious or distressed clients.
• Enter data accurately and maintain records in the management system.
• Communicate with clinical staff to relay messages and flag urgent issues.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.
