Job summary

Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education in Belton, Texas is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Receptionist to deliver friendly, patient-focused front desk support in a busy veterinary practice.

You will greet clients, schedule appointments, process payments, obtain medical histories, and coordinate with veterinarians and staff. A high school diploma and at least 1 year of veterinary experience are preferred; weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1 year of veterinary medicine experience preferred.
• Weekend availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients.
• Process invoice payments.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history.
• Determine the status of the patient's immunizations and tests.
• Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient's arrival and necessary treatments.
• Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian.
• Accurately input data into computer software.
