Mission Pet Health in Brookfield, Wisconsin, is seeking a friendly receptionist for our AAHA accredited small-animal practice. Join a walk-in urgent care model with strong emphasis on communication, teamwork, and compassionate client service.

As part of a nationwide network, you will manage multi-line phones, schedule appointments, maintain records, handle payments, and educate clients on preventive care while ensuring a welcoming, efficient hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and a love for animals.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle stressful situations with good judgment.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset with ability to work independently.
• Experience with veterinary software preferred; flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, reflect compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, handle financial transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services to ensure best care for every pet.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: be a calming presence for clients, showing empathy and respect in every situation.
